Reach for the Skies
On Sunday 1st October 2017, we will again be opening the doors of Ebrington Village Hall to all cyclists and walkers for refreshments. We will be serving tea, coffee, cakes and snacks between 10.00am and 1.00pm. It is an opportunity for all local cyclists and clubs to meet others in the area for a chat and sample the renowned Ebrington food. Husbands/wives/partners may like to use the village hall as an endpoint for a walk in the North Cotswold hills .
Whilst clubs may choose to use this as their coffee break on their normal Sunday ride we are also providing route sheets for our ‘Reach for the Skies’ ride. This is only a 21 mile route but it takes in 4 challenging hills, 2 thrilling descents, a tricky descent and stupendous views over 3 counties. Critical turns are signed. Only the fit should try this! Starting time is between 10.00 and 11.00am. There is no entry fee.
For those who prefer to walk we will have route sheets for a walk to Hidcote Garden café and back. A distance of 5 miles. Again, there is no entry fee for the walk.
All proceeds of the day will go to St Eadburgha's Church, Ebrington.
